CAMRO connects municipal needs with external support. To ensure this connection remains trustworthy, every municipality goes through a verified admission process – regardless of size, region or type of need.
How a municipality is admitted.
Application
The municipality submits its needs via the online form.
Pre-screening
The CAMRO team reviews the information for completeness and plausibility.
On-site inspection
An independent project partner verifies the information directly at the municipality.
Review of documents
Relevant documents are reviewed, such as budgets or existing action plans.
Decision
Based on the review, a decision is made on admission to the trial phase.
12 months of practice before it becomes permanent.
Every newly admitted municipality first goes through a trial phase, typically 12 months.

- ✔No use of killing as a population control measure during participation
Exclusion criteria
- ✕Complete transfer of municipal responsibility to third parties
- ✕Lack of or refused transparency
- ✕Unrealistic or unfounded financial demands
- ✕Using the platform solely for fundraising
